Memphis....  A few great names come to mind...  Elvis Presley, BB King,  Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Jerry Lee Lewis.  The city has two claims to fame.. "Birthplace of the Blues",  and "Birthplace of Rock and Roll"  Sun records, started by Sam Phillips was responsible for launching the careers of legendry songwriters. Memphis also played a large role in the soul genre with acts like  Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and Wilson Pickett.

Memphis still remains a hub of creativity to this day. A stroll down Beale Street will provide an evening's worth of great entertainment, both national acts and up and coming artists

This website is designed to offer many resources to help fill a songwriters needs.
